It's Been a Year!

I didn't even realize it's been a year since I've written! I've been working almost a year at a college. I am working for a program which helps African American students go back to school for jobs that are in demand in the Pittsburgh area so that they can have a decent job in this tough job market and can stay in the Burgh. I've met many wonderful people on the job. I have gotten to do a lot of writing. One of the most rewarding things I've done at this office is help with a series of talks delivered by prominent Muslims in the Pittsburgh area. Kimberly and I have spent a lot of time in the mountains and forests of Western PA. We go up to the Ligonier area regularly. We also went camping a number of times at Raccoon Park and Shawnee Park. The sports scene is very exciting in Pittsburgh with our new coach, Mike Tomlin, and new young faces such as Sidney Crosby and Evegeny Malkin on the Penguins. The Pirates--well--still a work in progress!
